This is La Roche-Posay's over-the-counter adapalene gel, using 0.1% adapalene, a retinoid, as its sole active ingredient to treat and prevent acne by speeding up cell turnover and keeping pores clear. A straightforward, fragrance-free gel without the added actives found in some acne treatments. Best used at night, since retinoids increase sun sensitivity.
